Setting up a Game Engine Provider
Game Engine Providers supply the games available via the platform, and the game engines that support their use by communicating with the platform using the AliQuantum Gaming API. Communication is mostly about accounting transactions and related information, but also includes security data such as authentication services. GEP administrators have limited access to platform functionality using a restricted menu set, and API users deal with the technical aspects of the system interface.
This topic is aimed at platform owner admin staff who need to set up a new Game Engine Provider on the back office system.
Before starting the procedure, gather the following information and items from the Game Engine Provider:
- GEP details, such as name and address and contact numbers, icon image and bank account details - for a complete list refer to the field properties of the View Game Engine Provider Details screen.
- Associated GEP Affiliate details that may differ from those of the GEP - for a complete list refer to the field properties of the View Affiliate Details screen.
- Details for the GEP admin user(s) and API user(s), such as name and contact details, IP addresses to whitelist and photo id - for a complete list refer to the field properties of the Manage User screen.
Also, determine the following details:
- Revenue Scheme that the new GEP will belong to, most likely of type 'GEP Revenue Share' or 'GEP As Affiliate' - see the current list by selecting Accounting menu > List Revenue Schemes from the system options.
- List of countries the GEP can operate in, and list of countries and languages the GEP Affiliate can operate in, if these are different.
- Marketing Code details: Brand, Profile, Type, Game.
- GEP external system details, such as the interface Java class, URL and access credentials - for a complete list refer to the field properties of the View External System Details screen.

- Platform access URL and login credentials.
Note that:
- GEP technical staff should liaise with AliQuantum technical support for assistance with the API interface and systems integration.
- GEP admin users don't normally have access to reports. The platform owner compares the GEP's monthly invoice with the platform's generated Purchase Order, and queries any differences before processing a payment.
- You can check the GEP admin user's menu availability by clicking the Assume User link at the top of the Manage User screen. If the user does not have administrator permissions, the link is crossed out (and not active).
