Manage User

Use this screen to view or update user details. To access the screen, click an entry in the User Id column of the List Users screen. It can also be accessed as a pop-up from numerous points in the system.

Click the Assume User link at the top of the screen to check the user's menu availability. Note that if the user does not have administrator permissions, the link is crossed out (and not active).

The fields on this screen are grouped into a number of sections, and have the following properties:

Details section
Field Properties
User's Name Full name of the user.
Email Address Email address of the user.
Encryption Key Generated by the system, the user's key is unique across the system, and is used to encrypt data stored on access cards.
Invalid Logon Attempts The total number of times a user has failed to log on to the system (or, in the case of API accounts, unsuccessful and possibly erroneous calls). The user's account is disabled when the number reaches a threshold (held in property INVALID_USER_LOGON_ATTEMPTS which administrators can access from Utility Menu > Common Parameters > Server Properties and whose default value is 5). Users with sufficient authorisation can reset or lower the user's number of Invalid Login Attempts.
Phone Phone number of the user.
Skype Id Skype Id of the user.
MSN Microsoft Network Id of the user.
Admin Skin Admin skin the user sees when logged on to the back office system, selected from a list. This may be used for branding purposes. Users can also change this value themselves by selecting Main Menu > Your User Details.
Ledger Amendment Limit The maximum amount by which the user is allowed to adjust players' ledger balances in order, for example, to fix errors or change updates resulting from fiscal defense actions. For example, if the limit value is £100 and a player's balance £1000, then the user can adjust the balance to between £900 and £1100. All amendments are noted in the audit trail.
Whitelist List of IP addresses from which the user is allowed to access the system, delimited by commas. An asterisk '*' means unrestricted.
Affiliate Affiliate the user belongs to, selected from a list.
Game Engine Provider Game Engine Provider associated with this user.
Locked Out When ticked, indicates the account is disabled from logins and API requests. For manual override only, this might typically be used when a member of staff leaves a company.
Alert on Helpdesk Status Change? When ticked, indicates the user is alerted by email when the status of a Helpdesk entry is changed using the Update Help Desk Entry screen. This field is only displayed for Helpdesk Managers and Operators, and the default is ticked.

Alert on Helpdesk Title Change?

When ticked, indicates the user is alerted by email when the title of a Helpdesk entry is changed using the Update Help Desk Entry screen. This field is only displayed for Helpdesk Managers and Operators, and the default is ticked.
Alert on Helpdesk Type Change? When ticked, indicates the user is alerted by email when the type of a Helpdesk entry is changed using the Update Help Desk Entry screen. This field is only displayed for Helpdek Managers and Operators, and the default is ticked.
Identification Photo Displays a photo of the user, which is used in the 'jackblack' skin and printed on the RFID Card Id (see below). Click the (Upload New Identification Photo...) link to display the Manage User Photo screen and set up a photo.
RFID Card Id Id code for the user's Radio-Frequency Identification card. Click the Print ID Card Image link to print the card.

Change the details of the user, then click the Update button to store them, or click the browser Back button to abandon the update and return to the previous screen.

Change Password section
Field Properties
Password Password for the user, which he/she can subsequently change using Main Menu > Your User Details. Password rules are displayed above the field.
Confirm Password Password repeated.

Enter a new password for the user in both fields, then click the Change button to store it.

Activity section
Field Properties
View Audit Trail Click to display the Audit Trail screen for the selected user.
View Scheduled Reports Click to display the List Scheduled Reports screen for the selected user.
View Cashier Stats Click to display amounts cashed in and out of kiosks.
View Bulk Email Runs Click to display the List Bulk Email Runs screen for the selected user.

Click any of the options in this section to view the specified data for the selected user.

WebDav section
Field Properties
Report Path Path from which the user can access reports using WebDav enabled devices.
Brand Files Path Path where the user stores brand related files using WebDav enabled devices.

If enabled, this section lists paths for use with Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning protocol (WebDav) enabled devices.
