Managing affiliate Marketing Codes

A marketing code is allocated to a player when he/she registers or the player account is set up, and is usually determined by the mechanism that directed the player to the gaming website, for example an SEO, brand advertisement or bulk email run. The marketing code belongs to both an affiliate and a brand, and these are usually reflected in the marketing code value in the form affiliate/brand/marketing channel. This topic is aimed at platform owner admin staff who need to manage marketing codes and brands for White Label affiliates in the back office system.

Follow these steps to list affiliate marketing codes:

1. Select Affiliate Menu > List Affiliates from the system options to display the List Affiliates screen.
2. Find and click the required affiliate entry in the Name column to display the View Affiliate Details screen.
3. Click the Marketing Codes link in the grid at the top of the screen to display the List Marketing Codes screen for the associated affiliate.

Follow these steps to add an affiliate marketing code:

1. First, follow the steps described in the first procedure of this topic to display the List Marketing Codes screen.
2. Click the Add button above the column headers to display the Add Marketing Codes pop-up screen.
3. Enter a unique marketing code and a description, select the brand it belongs to, and click the Add button to save them and close the pop-up.
4. Find and click the entry just created in the Code column to display the View Marketing Code Details screen, and enter the remaining details. Click the Update button to save the changes and return to the previous screen.

Follow these steps to view or update the details of an affiliate marketing code:

1. First, follow the steps described in the first procedure of this topic to display the List Marketing Codes screen.
2. Find and click the required entry in the Code column to display the View Marketing Code Details screen.
3. Change the details of the Marketing Code, then click the Update button to store them, or click the browser Back button to return to the previous screen.

Follow these steps to delete a marketing code:

1. First, follow the steps described in the first procedure of this topic to display the List Marketing Codes screen.
2. Tick the checkbox in the Selected column for the code(s) to delete, then click the Delete Checked button at the bottom of the screen.

Follow these steps to reassign a marketing code from one affiliate to another:

1. Select Affiliate Menu > Reassign Marketing Code from the system options to display the Reassign Affiliate Marketing Code screen. Alternatively, select Utility Menu > Tools Menu > Reassign Marketing Code to display the Reassign Marketing Code screen, which has exactly the same functionality.
2. Select a marketing code and affiliate (to reassign the code to), then click the Reassign button.
