Marketing codes, affiliates and brands

In the AliQuantum Platform, the business of 'marketing' includes the promotion of websites belonging to White Label operators, support for customer loyalty options, for example bonus and loyalty schemes, the concept of brands and branding, and the analysis of gaming activity and profitability through affiliate reports.

Central to this functionality is the existence of Marketing Codes. A marketing code is allocated to a player when he/she registers or the player account is set up, and is usually determined by the mechanism that directed the player to the gaming website, for example an SEO, brand advertisement or bulk email run. (The marketing code and reference data is stored in a cookie on the player's device when he/she visits the gaming website, so that it can be accessed even if the player registers at a later date).

The marketing code belongs to both an affiliate and a brand, and these are usually reflected in the marketing code value in the form affiliate/brand/marketing channel. For example, marketing code 'ROY-RCAS-TM' might belong to affiliate 'Royal Gaming' and brand 'Royal Casino' and be allocated to users of the T Mobile network.

If an appropriate marketing code does not already exist for the affiliate/brand/channel, a default is created by the system where the ‘channel’ is set to either ADM for Admin, STF for ‘Send To Friend’, or WEB for website.
