Managing tournaments

Online gaming tournaments allow several players to sign up and play a featured game over a fixed time period to compete for cash and prizes, and can be configured in several ways, for example specifying what triggers a win, and the combination of prize and/or jackpot paid to the winner. Read the Tournaments overview for more information.

This topic is aimed at admin staff of platform owners and White Label operators who need to set up and maintain gaming tournaments.

Before starting these procedures, you may need to determine the following details:

Follow these steps to list tournaments:

  1. Select Game Menu > Schemes > List Tournaments from the system options to display the List Tournaments screen.

Follow these steps to add a tournament:

  1. Select Game Menu > Schemes > List Tournaments from the system options to display the List Tournaments screen, and click the Add button above the column headers to display the Add New Tournament pop-up screen.
  2. Enter the tournament name and description, and click the Add button to save them and close the pop-up.
  3. Find and click the entry just created in the Name column to display the View Tournament Details screen, and enter the remaining details. Click the Update button to save the changes and return to the previous screen.

Follow these steps to view or update the details of a tournament:

  1. Select Game Menu > Schemes > List Tournaments from the system options to display the List Tournaments screen.
  2. Find and click the required tournament entry in the Name column to display the View Tournament Details screen.
  3. Change the details of the tournament, then click the Update button to store them, or click the browser Back button to return to the previous screen.

Follow these steps to delete a tournament:

  1. Select Game Menu > Schemes > List Tournaments from the system options to display the List Tournaments screen.
  2. Tick the checkbox in the Selected column for the tournament(s) to delete, then click the Delete Checked button at the bottom of the screen.

Follow these steps to view a tournament's leaderboard:

  1. Select Game Menu > Schemes > List Tournaments from the system options to display the List Tournaments screen.
  2. Find the required tournament entry in the Name column, where the tournament status is either 'Live' or 'Finished', and click the Leaderboard link beside it to display the View Tournament Leaderboard screen.
