Managing brand email templates

Every brand has a number of email templates based on their global email template, for use in defined situations. For example, an email to send to a player to confirm a deposit, or one to send to all players explaining about gaming limits and how to increase them. Each template has a number of different entries, one for each supported language.

This topic is aimed at admin staff of platform owners and White Label operators who maintain brand details.

Follow these steps to list brand email templates:

  1. Select Marketing Menu > Branding > List Brands from the system options to display the List Brands screen.
  2. Find and click the required brand entry in the Name column to display the View Brand Details screen.
  3. Click the Manage Email Templates for this Brand link in the Branding Options section to display the List Email Templates screen.

Follow these steps to add a brand email template:

  1. First, follow the steps described in the first procedure of this topic to display the List Email Templates screen, then click the Add button above the column headers to display the Add Email Templates pop-up screen.
  2. Enter the new email template name then click the Add button to save it and close the pop-up.
  3. Find and click the entry just created in the Name column to display the View Email Template Details screen for the associated template.
  4. Add a description of the template, and click the link(s) in the Language column of the list below to display the View Email Template For Language Details screen and complete the entry details including email text (the system automatically supplies the basic template in English), using common short codes (listed at the end of this procedure) as required. Click the Update button twice to save all changes and return to the List Email Templates screen.

Follow these steps to delete a brand email template:

  1. First, follow the steps described in the first procedure of this topic to display the List Email Templates screen.
  2. Tick the checkbox in the Selected column for the template(s) to delete, then click the Delete Checked button at the bottom of the screen.

Follow these steps to view or change the content of a brand email template:

  1. First, follow the steps described in the first procedure of this topic to display the List Email Templates screen.
  2. Click the required template entry in the Name column to display the View Email Template Details screen.
  3. Click on the required template language entry in the Language column to display the View Email Template For Language Details screen.
  4. Ensure that the Use Global Brand Email Template checkbox is ticked, then edit the template email text in the form below, using common short codes (listed below) as required. Click the Update button to store the details and return to the previous screen.
