Wagering requirements

A wagering requirement (WR) is the number of times a bonus or payment must be staked before it can be withdrawn.

For bonuses, this is typically set at 25. In practice, therefore, a seemingly generous 'bonus' is rarely converted into cash in hand. The WR also applies to any winnings that may derive from a bonus.

The default WR can be also be increased for specific games if it is otherwise possible to quickly fulfill a wagering requirement with little risk, for example a game of roulette where the player is not prevented from betting on red and black at the same time. Refer to the Bonus Wagering Requirement Divisor field on the View Game Details screen.

WRs may also be applied to player payments, for a number of reasons. For example, to prevent the withdrawal of un-played deposits in support of anti money laundering policies, or for a specific payment method, if that method is particularly costly to the operator.
