Use this screen to show the system SQL queries that take a long time to run, in order that they can be investigated and improved. To access the screen, select Utility Menu > Servers > Show Slow Queries from the system options.
Each row set entry shows the SQL code, where it is called from, the number of records returned, the last date/time it was run, and the average time in seconds it took to run, where a running time of 5 seconds or more defines a 'slow' query, irrespective of the amount of 'work' it has to do. Click the Explain link of an entry in the SQL column to display the Explain Slow Query screen.
